CDA Sponsors and Judges NAWIC Philadelphia’s Block Kids Competition
CDA was honored to sponsor the NAWIC Philadelphia Foundation’s Block Kids Building Competition and participate in judging the creative work of some incredibly talented young Philadelphians! 🎉
The Block Kids program offers students in grades 1-6 a hands-on opportunity to explore careers in trade unions. During the event, each participant had one hour to build a construction-related project, sparking their interest in union trade jobs and introducing them to career pathways in skilled trades.
Congratulations to all the participants, especially the winners in each grade level who will now move on to the next stage of the competition.
